Big Bass Splash Slots
The Big Bass series of slot games has been one of the most popular when it comes to the fishing theme. In most, the angler is the key to reeling in the biggest payouts. Big Bass Splash is another of the fantastic offerings from this series.
The first step to playing this slot game is to set your bet. The 10 paylines are all active, but you need to decide how many coins to wager per line and what the value of those coins is. Options range from 1 to 10 coins per line with coin values starting at a penny and going to the $2.50 max. This leads to a betting range of 10 cents to $250. After choosing your bet, it’s time to spin.
A Breakdown of the Paytable and Symbols in Big Bass Splash
Other than the Truck symbol which pays with two matches, you typically need three or more matching symbols on one of the 10 paylines.
10, Jack, and Queen – 0.2 to 5x
King and Ace – 0.2 to 10x
Fish – 1x to 20x
Tackle Box – 2x to 50x
Dragon Fly – 2x to 50x
Fishing Rod – 3x to 100x
Truck – 0.5 to 200x
The Angler is wild with no payout of his own. The Bass is a scatter and also has no payout. They are important when it comes to the bonus features.
All of the Bonus Features
You need three scatter symbols to trigger the free spins bonus round in Big Bass Splash slots. If you get two on the reels, they trigger at least one respin in hopes of landing more scatters to trigger the bonus. With each respin, the scatter drops one spot on the reel until it’s off the game grid.
With three, four, or five scatters, you win 10, 15, or 20 free spins respectively. In those free spins, the angler’s appearance helps you collect the cash value of the fish. Each time he appears, he also fills one space on the counter at the top. If he fills a section, you win more free spins, and multipliers are added.
Before the free spins even begin, up to five modifiers are chosen to add extra features to the free spins. Those modifiers are:
Add 2 Free Spins
Extra Anglers
Extra Fish
Jump to Level 2
More Bazooka, Dynamite, and Hook features
The Bazooka, Dynamite, and Hook features occur randomly after a spin in the free spins.
Bazooka – When you have an angler and no fish, a bazooka may appear and blow up symbols and replace them with random symbols.
Dynamite – If there is an angler and no fish in the free spins, dynamite blows things up and puts fish on the reels.
Hook – During a free spin, a hook may add the angler to the reels if there are fish but he’s missing.
Things to Know About the Game

Betting Options: 10 cents to $250
Slot Game RTP: 96.71%
The best test of a game is to give it a chance. We set the total bet to $1 (1 cent coin value and 10 coins per line) and gave it 10 spins to see what we’d win. The results were a disappointing nothing. Not one spin triggered a winning combination.
We did have two scatters hit the reels on the fifth spin. That triggers a re-spin as the scatters drop one position on the reels and offer the chance to spin the other reels in hopes of landing the third. It didn’t happen for us.
We then paid the 100x to automatically trigger the free spins bonus and see if that was worthwhile. The 10 free spins we activated with the bonus buy feature resulted in these prizes.
3rd spin - $1
6th spin - $7
8th spin - $15
It wasn’t the best experience with either one. I’ve had better luck on other Big Bass games, but slot games are all about luck. Play Big Bass Splash and see if you’ll do better than we did.
