Bigger Bass Blizzard Christmas Catch Slots

Bigger Bass Blizzard Christmas Catch Slots

The fishing-themed line of slots featuring the rugged angler has been a favorite due to the generous prizes. How will Bigger Bass Blizzard Christmas Catch slots stack up? Here’s what we experienced during our review of this holiday-themed fishing slot.

Before we get to the details, it helps to understand the betting options. Bets start at a penny per line and there are 12 paylines. You can risk up to 10 coins per line, which means if you bet 10 coins per line and choose a 50-cent coin value, your total bet would be 10 x 0.50, which is $5, times 12 to lead to a total bet of $60.

Explore the Paytable’s Prizes and Symbols

The paytable’s prizes are broken down into dollar amounts and depend on your bet. The following is using a total bet of $1.20 (Penny per line with all 10 coins per line).

  • 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace – 60 cents to $12

  • Money Fish - $1.20 to the total value of the fish if there are five of them on the reels

  • Tackle Box - $2.40 to $60

  • Fishing Bob - $2.40 to $60

  • Fishing Rod - $3.60 to $120

  • Snowmachine – 60 cents (with two matches) to $240

The Angler is a wild with no value of his own, but he helps form winning combinations. He also collects the cash value of the fish in the free spins bonus round.

The Fish Scatter also has no value. It does trigger the free spins bonus round, however.

Collect a Bounty of Prizes in the Bonus Rounds

Three scatters award 10 free spins. When the angler appears, he reels in the cash prizes from the fish and fills the meter at the top. That meter leads to additional free spins and multipliers of up to 10x. Increase your bet by 18x and increase the chance of getting scatters on the reels.

We’re not sure it’s worth it. We paid the fee and in 10 spins got 5 scatters. We increased our $12 bet to $18 to get more the extra chance of scatters and got another 5 scatters. It didn’t seem to make any difference.

The other option is to pay 100x and automatically trigger the free spins bonus round. Again, using a $12 wager, we paid the $1,200 bonus buy fee. Was that worth it? After spending $1,200 our total winnings came to $468.

How Well Did We Do in 10 Spins

For our slot game reviews, we like to set a wager and test the game out with 10 spins. We opted for the smaller $1.20 bet and got started. A $2.40 win on our third spin was the only win we had.
